Welcome to the Principal's Message

It is my very great pleasure to welcome you to this, the Woodstock School Web site.  This is a Learning Management Service (LMS) that facilitates effective sharing of knowledge and communication between the school, teachers, administrators, students and parents delivering a rich teaching and learning environment. It is a very exciting development for us as we explore the potential of the system.

The development of this site and its maintenance has been achieved through the hard work of Mr Aubin Wenzlick, Mrs Claire Blomfield and Mrs S Johnson.  

Teachers are developing their own classroom pages and I can only be amazed at the growing ICT Skills they are learning and using in their creations.  It is our intention that over time, every child in the school will create their own individual page to showcase items of their work.  It also gives them the ability to work on classroom programmes/projects/home learning when they are at home. We are attempting to make learning fun for all students.  

We are also creating home pages for the Board of Trustees, Parent/Teacher Association and Whanau Committee, so visit these public sites to see what is happening in the school specifically for these areas of school life.
