Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Woodstock School uses a range of information technologies to enhance our student's learning. We have a fully equiped Computer Suite which the children have regular access to.
Each of our Year 5 & 6 classrooms have five fully networked computers in the room which children use as part of their daily learning. All other classrooms have one - two networked computers.
Four of our classrooms have an Interactive White Board system set up in their room. These Whiteboards are extremely powerful learning tools which the children love using to expand their knowledge. We hope to purchase more of these systems in the near future.
Woodstock School runs specialist computer groups, where creative and problem solving skills are promoted. (Examples of animations completed by children can be found below). Specialist computer teachers also work along side classroom teachers to assist them teach ICT skills to their class.
As part of their learning programme, children have hands on access to a wide range of digital equipment such as digital and still video cameras.
