Woodstock Cricketers go to the One Day international at SeddonPark.
On Tuesday the 9th of March ten Woodstock School cricketers were able to attend the Black Caps vs Australia one day match at SeddonPark. WoodstockSchool were supplied the tickets from New Zealand cricket as recognition for promoting the game within our school.
During the innings break our children along with many other children from a range of different schools were given the opportunity to play a 25 minute game on the field of play. All schools played a match within their own team and each member was able to have a bat and a bowl. All children were supplied milo caps and shirts to wear on the field.
We would like to thank New Zealand cricket for giving ten of our children the fantastic opportunity to support the Black Caps and play a cricket match on the field of play last Tuesday afternoon.
