Cluster Swimming Sports
Brad Burkhart, Arie Gordon and Sophie Lewis
On Tuesday the 23rd of March, 39 very keen and enthusiastic Woodstock Year 4 – 6 children attended the Cluster Swimming Sports that took place at Fairfield College. The event involved 6 schools and included 4 swimming events. These were Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and team Freestyle relays.
All our children swam with commitment and the determination to do their best. There were some outstanding results by a number of our children. Sophie Lewis came 3rd in the Year 6 Freestyle race, Brad Burkhart came 2nd in the Year 6 Breaststroke race and Arie Gordon came 3rd in the Year 5 Freestyle race. In the relays we produced two strong performances with the Year 4 girls team and Year 5 boys team coming 3rd in their races.
